World Heritage Site (WHS) SWOYAMBHUNATH 2026/6/19
After ten years, World Heritage Site (WHS) conservation works have resumed on the stupa. Excess lime plaster added during previous renovations is being carefully removed to reduce structural overload, preserve the monument's authenticity, and ensure its long-term stability.
