 Nawalparasi (Nepal), March 11 , After 16 years of construction, the center for spiritualism and religious belief ‘Shaswat Dham’ was recently inaugurated byNepal’s President, Bidhya Devi Bhandari. Bhandari inaugurated the Dham and took a tour of the site, expressing her confidence over the development of Nepal’s tourism through the establishment of the new religious and cultural site. Binod Chaudhary, Nepal’s First Billionaire and the Chairman of Chaudhary Group, clarified about the establishment of ‘Shaswat Dham’ by appealing everyone to continue the religious integration. The main temple inside the Dham, Ekambareshwor- the Shiva Temple, is built in the world-famous Khajuraho- style of architecture.The Shaswat Dham covers an area of 12 acres amidst the scenic backdrops of Devchuli and Barchuli hills of Nawalparasi district in central Nepal. The main temple in the Dham- Ekambareshwor is surrounded by a pond where holy waters from famous shrines: Badri, Kedar, Haridwar, Muktinath, and Pashupatinath are poured. Apart from it, the Dham also has a Vaidik Karmakanda Gurukul, Sri Center for Meditation and Yogic Sciences, Heritage Store, Organic Restaurant, a manuscript resource center, a museum, a souvenir store and an organic farm.
