Mahashivaratri 2020

Maha Shivaratri in Nepal Maha Shivaratri is one Major Festival of Nepal. The festivals literally mean the night of the shiva. Shivaratri observes by Hindus on the 14th day of every lunar month. This is the day before the new moon. This year the Maha Shivaratri is Celebrate on February 21. It is celebrated across Nepal as well as India. Shive the god of destruction. It is worship on the day. Maha Shivaratri celebrates marking the convergence of Shiva as well as Shakti. Maha Shivaratri also celebrated the night when Lord Shiva performed the Tandav dance. Hindus from all over visit the Famous Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu. This temple is one of the Holy shrines for Hindus. The temple considers as the Guardian as well as the protector of the Kathmandu valley and Nepal. Chants like Om Namah Shivay as well as Mahamritunjya will be praying for all nights. Tourists from different countries visit and enjoy. Colorful as well as nacked sadhus are seen meditating and posing for pictures. They do interact politely way and discipline ways with foreigners. On the day children collect donations from passersby on roads or trails.
